Rowing is not just a sport; it’s a way of life that fosters discipline, fitness, and a deep connection with nature. Our Learn to Row program is designed to introduce newcomers to the fundamentals of rowing in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

QUALIFIED COACHES

Our experienced coaches are dedicated to providing personalized instruction, ensuring you develop proper technique from the very beginning.

COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULUM

Over the course of 8 weeks, you’ll learn essential rowing skills, including boat handling, rowing strokes, water safety, and teamwork.

SMALL GROUP SIZES

With a maximum of 6 participants per group, you’ll receive ample individual attention to enhance your learning experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Week 1-2: Introduction to rowing equipment, basic strokes on the ergometer (rowing machine), and safety protocols.

Week 3-4: Transition to on-water sessions, learning how to balance the boat, and practicing basic manoeuvres.

Week 5-6: Refining technique, increasing stroke efficiency, and building endurance.

Week 7-8: Rowing as a crew, understanding team dynamics, and preparing for potential progression into training squads.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

Age: Open to anyone aged 12 and above.
 

Fitness Level: No prior experience is necessary, but a basic level of fitness will enhance your experience.
 

Attire: Wear comfortable, form-fitting athletic clothing and sneakers. We recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.
