OF MILESTONES
1885
Club founded by a group of local rowing enthusiasts seeking to promote the sport in the region.
1920s
Expansion of facilities to include a new boathouse and clubhouse, accommodating a growing membership.
1960s
Introduction of women’s rowing programs, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the sport.
1980s
Upgraded our rowing course to a full 2 km with 8 lanes, making it suitable for high-level competitions.
2000s
Launch of the Learn to Row program, encouraging community participation and fostering new talent.
